I personally think it's a wonderful idea. My kids grew up with Rocky Point and have so many fine memories. Rocky Point is and always will be an icon to Rhode Islanders.

Sorry that my children never had the chance to experience Rocky Point. Some of my best childhood memories were made at Rocky Point.

We need rocky point back.... Or something like it there is absolutely nothing in this state. Except a carnival every now and then.. We have plenty of room in this state for an amusement park!!!!!!

Omg, please bring rocky point back, my parents Brung me thier every year for my birthday and in between, We use to take the family boat there from Jamestown...I've been in florida over 20 years and moved back to R.I. little over a year now, and one thing was on my mind..Go to Rocky point. Boy I was devastated when I heard it was no longer.Please I beg , bring it back...

The children of RI really need a park like Rocky Point. A place to share with family and friends.
Now we have to travel to Conn. Or Mass; for some families that's not possible.

I go to the park with my kids to fly kites, which is fun, but seeing the arch and the sky line ramp is sad and I wish I had the $$$ to rebuild it myself. So many awesome memories of RP.

I was a ride operator on the flying couster and the scrambler rides. Also was the conductor for the train thru kiddie land. Great summer job!! Clam cakes were the best in New Egland

Unfortunately.. We can never bring back Rocky point : ( but we definitely need an amusement park for our children to experience and remember just as we have.... The long history and the location was a big part of what made "Rocky Point" it will forever be in my memories.. Many, many memories...
