It's very sad that your character is the only married person. It's even sadder that your children don't have anyone their age to play with. It feel odd. If it's a dlc I would download it.

Do them like Animal Parade and Tree of Tranquility where the rival asks you if it's okay and you have to be friends with them. This gets rid of the excuse of feeling "too pressured".
