Please give us our Raising Hope back, send it to HBO, send to pay-per-view, I'll pay anything to see new episodes, already seen all of these like 10 times each. Love Garrett Dillahunt, have always loved Martha Plimpton, adore Cloris Leachman (hands down a huger talent than other much-more-celebrated older, or any other, actresses, and what a lack of ego, kudos, Cloris), love the Hope twins' reactions. Love the premise/storylines. There's more funny, moving and enlightening moments than in any other sitcom I can think of. Oh my gosh, and the house is a character unto itself and who can't relate to "making do" with an iron that shocks and a frozen-over freezer and all the crap an old house gives you to deal with ... so very relatable how complicated life is for those of us not living up the chain financially. And the one where Jimmy and Virginia say Burt can't do anything for himself and then they learn he does a ton of stuff for them each day before they even wake up (Burt herding up ants off the sink so Virginia doesn't have to look at them, awwwww ... reminds me of an amazing poem called "Love's Lonely Offices." (In fact, the show is pure literature at times.) Dillahunt and Plimpton convey so much with just a an eye movement or twitch. And how sexy and pretty is Martha without being cookie cutter cute. Love Rosa Flores, love twisted Sabreener, as Virginia calls her, love Jimmy (he plays that part with such effortless finesse), love all the T-shirts on the show, love Virginia's cute but inexpensive-looking clothes. Love Shelley (!), Frank, Barney. Loved how they had "Yes, Dear" couple cameo for one episode and then he came back for another show that had a surprise ending. Love the costumes, love the drunk mayor, love the Grinch special (Dillahunt can do ANYTHING.) Bring it back! I am 57 and this show is in my top five fave sitcoms of all time. I gots taste, I gots buying power and I says bring it back!
