I LOVE PROFESSOR LAYTON! It's the only series I play anymore, because after starting them all of the other games seemed lame in comparison!

Professor Layton.... unplugged?! Unthinkable! Impossible! Why would anyone in their right mind think of such a horrid idea!? The Layton series is a brilliant game! The story line is comical and action-packed, and the puzzles keep me on my toes and strengthens my solving-skills. The puzzles are my favorite part, because they test my skill as a puzzle-solver, and my ability to think outside the box for answers. The semi-recent crossover even brought a new, fresh start to the series. They should do more crossover, or bring Phoenix back (hence the emoticon up top)!There are also the unexplained mysteries of Luke leaving to who-knows-where at the end of Unwound Future, whether Emmy would return, and the further relationship between Hershal and Descole, not to mention the evil guy with the French mustache (don't remember his name). "Picarats" truly knew the value of this series to start this petition, and I hope it reaches its goal!
(Though in retrospect, the goal may have been a little high...)

I always look forward to the next Professor Layton game, so I really was devastated when I heard that Level 5 were going to pull the plug.I think it's a huge mistake and I hope this petition encourages you to reconsider.If you did release another game I, and many others, would be delighted.

I have loved the layton games from 2008 up until now. You need to make more otherwise you will disappoint all the fans. The professor layton games are up amongst the best games i have never played. We don't even know what happened to Descole after asran legacy or anything about Stachenscarfen. I would love to see a new trilogy where Luke is a bit older and meets back up with the professor. PLEASE LEVEL-5! BRING BACK LAYTON!!!

The characters are genuine and unique and the games intriguing and heartwarming - the loss of the Professor after only six short years would be such a shame. If Mario and Luigi can get 20+ years, then so can Layton!
