Poppies Radio was a free station that provided match commentary and player interviews from Kettering Town Football Club, ran by the fans for the fans.

Listeners nationwide and worldwide tuned in and were able to keep up to date with what was happening at the club they support, each week people would email or text showing appreciation for the service provided and even fans of the teams we were playing against were grateful and thankful that they could tune in if they couldn't make it to the game.

The commentary was always filled with cheerful banter and was great to listen to.

Today we have found out that Poppies Radio has been scrapped in favour of a subscription TV service, which many fans, some of whom have donated a lot of money to the club in order to keep it running feel is unfair.
