The kids need a park to play in , they should not be punished because of ones that can't follow rules and regulations. The SPD need to step up and do there jobs.

My nieces and nephews use to play in that park now they are being punished for other peoples action and it's not right to punish these little kids this city has gone to hell you use to be able to walk on the hilltop with no fear of being shot but now you got to worry about being shot at drug dealers I mean where are the police they need to do their jobs

This is where we need to police department to be responsive to the area. Start utilizing the camera there at the park, and responding to calls from neighbors if their is a problem. This is still a problem at the location of the park now, no response from the city, We need to encourage them to correct this, and remind them. If we can't get this, we speak with votes.

IF the kids are going to use the park for it's main purpose--to play! By all means, bring it back, but if it's going to be a haven for troublemakers, drug dealers, junkies, etc. keep it closed, I am personally tired of the "entitlement" that people around here believe that they have. If it opens, someone doesn't abide by the rules, close it back down, just like back in the day, if someone did something wrong in class and wouldn't fess up....the whole class got punished until that one person 'accepted responsibility" for their actions. Good Luck! I hope it all works out.

Very true, right now they are playing football in the middle of the road. In front of the park. This is safer than the park?

IF the kids are going to use the park for it's main purpose--to play! By all means, bring it back, but if it's going to be a haven for troublemakers, drug dealers, junkies, etc. keep it closed, I am personally tired of the "entitlement" that people around here believe that they have. If it opens, someone doesn't abide by the rules, close it back down, just like back in the day, if someone did something wrong in class and wouldn't fess up....the whole class got punished until that one person 'accepted responsibility" for their actions. Good Luck! I hope it all works out.
