As a teacher I understand the importance of education as a way out of poverty. These girls only wanted a chance escape that cycle of poverty and to be able to contribute to their society.

This is shameful and indeed a responsibility of the African Union. All countries should work together on brining back the girls.

Please do everything in your power to compel the senate and White House to rescue the 230 school girls who have been kidnapped by terrorists. The Nigerian government has not effectively solved this problem and 10 days have passed and all the girls are still missing. I believe it is morally and ethically crucial that the US take immediate action. Sincerely,

My heart goes out to all the parents, relatives and friends of these girls. May The Lord help these precious girls so they may return to their families safe and sound. May the African Union take full action and responsibility to find them.

Education and empowerment of girls should not lead to abduction, rape and sold into slavery. This is not merely about education as a weapon but the money being made to sell girls into slavery. What are you going to do Africa to stop this outrage?
