As alumni, friends and supporters of Saint Louis University, we find the "new" Billiken mascot disturbing and request that University Administration Bring Back our Old Billiken.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of feedback we have generated. I am currently preparing a formal letter to the University leadership and will request a meeting to discuss the return of the original mascot design.

I was a cheerleader and was the Billiken for a couple events. The new look is mean and not consistent with history or purpose.
Not representative of the school's image. We need the old Billiken back . So many good memories could be tarnished by the new mascot. A&S '97
This is what happens when you listen to Millenials. Do something right for once SLU, and bring back the old Billiken.
Please bring back classic Billiken
This new Billiken mascot is awful. We had the most unique mascot in all of sports and we've done this to it? Bring back the old one - we deserve better than this.

Please bring back our classic Billiken. This one is mean and scary looking. Nothing happy or good about it. I know some alumni have threatened not to continue donating to SLU. We wont go that far, but please rethink this awful,disturbing new mascot. It does not reflect the spirit of our wondrful univesity.
