I very much admire Oral-B's discontinued Hummingbird product. It is compact, and most effective at its job because importantly, it is properly shaped to perpendicularly reach all side cuspids and difficult to to reach rear molars. Disposable picks are useless for this chore and may as well be disposed of before even starting. I carry one in my vehicle, so that when if leaving a restaurant, I may remove food from my teeth. One dentist in my life even set had a nickname for me PT, even though my name is Jay. PT stood for perfect teeth. (chuckle)

I have not been able to replace with anything as comfortable to use as the Hummingbird Flosser. I still tell my dentists and friends about how good it was to use. It was the only time I kept up my flossing routinely

Please give this request to "Product Development" or direct me to them, so I can share some serious changes that would make sales much better, that would actually make the product "viable" in contrast to before when it didn't have good sales.
Please bring back the Oral-B Hummingbird... Why?
Because it is the ONLY Handheld Flosser that actually "worked good".
How...? Because it fit perfectly in the hand and it was angled in such a way that you could perfectly "control" the flossing of your teeth. Also, the Floss attachment and floss itself was strong, lasted several uses, etc.
I have tried ALL existing "Flossers" that can be found online and in the market, including "imitations" that try to be similar to the Hummingbird, and NONE are any good at allowing you to control your flossing well so you can do a proper job as well with less or no bleeding depending on the state of your gums.
I please beg of you to bring back this flossing tool.
However, I do have one suggested change and how to market it, and also for a future design improvement potentially.
1. Remove the "Electric Hummer"... It's just not needed and doesn't do anything. I never used it when I used to use the product.
This adds unnecessary "cost" to the product, and likely was the primary reason it was less popular in sales.
People didn't want to pay that much for a flossing tool. But people also didn't know how good the "design" was. However, those of us who took the chance, who saw how good the design actually seemed to be, LOVED the product once using it especially me when doing the below.
2. Promote in marketing how much "better" it is for flossing in "control" of the tool and floss, how you can do a proper floss getting into the crevices with no pain and blood depending on gum health of course.
Further, promote how "dipping" the floss in "Mouthwash" especially Anticeptic Mouthwash when using at the start will greatly increase the healing and killing of bacteria between the t

Had surgery to have my salivary gland removed several years ago. This was a life saver!! Took with me every where I went, fit in my purse. Wanted to buy a few more and found out it's no longer available. I don't want to use anything else! Please bring this back.

After many years of use, it stopped working. I need a new one, not a water pic.

Puts a bad taste in my mouth, pun intended, with P&G for making the decision to quit manufacturing this product. As a President of an intl mfg company, I sense that uninformed decisions might have been made at the top that cost P&G lots of market share and future profits. This product was superior in the ease of use, in my opinion, to the many water flossers on the market.

When I used the hummingbird, the dental hygienist kept saying there was nothing for her to do as she cleaned my teeth during my annual cleaning.
