Bring back open and restricted sections.
Current BD structure is terrible and unencouraging for the majority (.....the non professional competitors)

It is not fair having professionals in silver sections. Also international riders competing at Novice and Elementary is just trying is just Trophy Hunting and discourages people in all sections as the sorry of great becoming ELITIST.

New rule structure is far too complicated to understand. Some of the rules make no common sense. Either return to old system OR write a new system that is far easier to understand and makes it fair for amateurs and professionals, young horses and established ones. Listen to the members on the ground who are out competing. And my biggest bug bare....... train the staff at BD who answer the phones to give out the correct information. The rules are so complicated they don’t even know them inside out and frequently give out incorrect answers to queries. Also, the computer system is not fit for purpose, when BE can have live scoring, why does it take 4-6weeks to go on BD and then, some of the time there incorrect or don’t have horses details.

We need to get back to stable sanity. The complexity of the current BSG system will go on and on. The slate needs to be wiped clean and start again with a more fundamental understanding of the issues at hand.

I would welcome back open and restricted but maybe an elite class for riders over a certain stage. I find rules hard to understand.

As an amateur one horse owner the new structure has really put me off competing as in medium silver there are frequently professional riders bringing out new or younger horses.
