We need to give our businesses a chance to survive. People who have the pass live close enough to walk so it should be the opposite.

I feel like everyone “in power” has allowed fear to rule them and make everything harder than it needs to be. Our local economy is going to crash if our officials in power don’t open their eyes and minds to what is really going to happen.

town council has no regard to financial loss of business to shops, resturants etc. This is not fair to our town. Who is going to want to rent in Bethany when you can't go to beach, shopping etc?

As residents of neighboring towns like Dagsboro, Ocean View, Millville, and Frankford, we are paying taxes for beach replenishment as well as any other improvement needed! We have always fully supported BB's local businesses! It is a shame that this rediculous act even took place!

As a resident of Ocean View, the ban is simply unfair. Should Ocean View residents ban Bethany residents the ability to share parking at its food stores, restaurants, etc.?

This is truly a disgrace for Delaware to lock out residents and tourists!! We will all go to Maryland and put our money there Delaware is open to all and yet Bethany Beach locks up !’

Parking shouldn’t be exclusively for those who live within the proposed parking plan. Parking should be COMPLETELY accessible for all Bethany Beach Residents. That is common sense. The majority of those homes in that area have large driveways with plenty of parking for the homeowners and it’s guests. It is appalling that a township would segregate parking for people who don’t even need it.

Bring back the parking in Bethany Beach. We all pay taxes towards it, so we deserve to use them. Thank you

This parking plan is utterly ridiculous. I want businesses to survive and that will not happen if visitors from the local areas are not welcomed by the town.

Makes it difficult for seniors on limited incomes from Ocean View to enjoy the beach especially after the Covid19 closures!!

They’re killing all small businesses and for what? So someone avoids a virus? We all take responsibility for ourselves. If you’re compromised, don’t go. I’m compromised so I know how to protect myself.

I have been going to Bethany since I was young. It is my happy place. That has been taken from us. I have a baby and would like to park in Campbell place where I usually park. This is discrimination in all aspects.
