It was a nice sign. It didn't need replacing and you should've asked the people who live here.

Clearly The Navarre Community feels strongly not only about their sign but their slogan as well. It doesn't appear that there was enough effort put forth to let our community know that our sign would be taken down and the slogan changed. Our slogan very much represented our Community and our beach, it seems you could have saved the money and put it to good use in improvements for the Navarre community so that we have more to attract these tourists your trying to bring. Spending it to replace a sign that was already great was a waste of money. The new slogan is rather flat and boring. "Every" beach around the world is a " Relaxing Place" how does that slogan set us apart from other beach communities? I don't know of any that are "The Best Kept Secret" . Seems like the tourist development council could come up with some really unique creative advertising from our original slogan that would intice or draw tourists into wanting to come check out our community.

Wonder what the magic number of signatures is to persuade the BoCC to at least start a dialogue with citizens of Navarre.

I am an owner on Navarre Beach. I leave early am and have seen people go towards on coming traffic because their looking for the sign. Plus the original sign represents Navarre Beach. Money should of been spent on other parts of our beach.
Stop wasting money! There was nothing wrong with the sign or slogan.
Bring back the old sign!
"Florida's most relaxing place" is a terrible slogan. Is Navarre a day spa now?
What were you thinking Rob?
Bring back our sign!
Put the old signs back.
Re-branding can happen without taking away our landmarks. #brongbackoursign
