Mrs.O really helped me a great amount this year, she would always make sure i wasn’t falling behind on the concepts and made sure i understood everything, she would offer separate times for me to come in aside from the study sessions she helped run before each unit

Mrs. O goes the extra mile for us, so the least faculty and students can do is return a portion the favor.

Although I have usually stayed on top of material in physics and for the most part not needed extra help from Ms. Olander, when I am absent or have missed material she helps me very much to learn the material. And she has helped countless struggling students and much of the class would not be as far as they are without her. She is also a great person to have in the classroom and really enhances the learning experience.

Olander has been the spark in a flat learning environment. She is the reason over 100 of the Monte's students are passing. You may be concerned about her relations with students, but shouldn't you be praising her. There are very few teachers here that are loved and appreciated like she is. Students at HFA are facing so many things that admin tries to cover from the public eye. It's obvious admin doesn't hold students wellbeing and happiness in the same regard as education and media coverage. Olander was the ONLY one who spoke to students when she saw them at their lowest. Monte and Olander are a duo who have told students directly that they'd put their lives on the line for them. Please bring her back.

They split up AP Physics and the other class is not learning anything. Almost 10 students from the other class came into our room so they could review for the test next week but they were taken out. If Olander was still here, we’d be able to review together and less people will fail. Without her there are bound to be more students failing it.

Mrs olander is sassy and fun and makes physics less mentally strenuous. I do moderately well in physics so she seated me next to someone who was struggling, and through all the explanations i gave to him helped both his and i my underatanding of the content. Shes great, fhus is not ok

Ms. Olander takes the time to talk to students individually and help them meet their needs. It is rare to see a teacher truly care about their students the way Ms. Olander does.

Mrs.Olander has really helped make physics an easy process to go through. Junior can be a very hectic year with more ap classes and scheduling everything, she made physics be the least of my worries. She would use her lunch and planning just to help a student of students if they were lost. She really deserves to stay. She has worked harder than some teachers I have had at hfa and does not even get the same pay.

I am a sophomore and Ms.O has tutored me with my math class she went above and beyond what a teacher had to do.
She was interactive and she actually cared
