Ridiculous. It is hard to find dedicated teachers these days and age obviously is With all these signatures. Reprimand her at the most its not like she was having sex with a student

I am constantly surprised at the pomposity and single mindedness of school administrators who don't even try to get facts straight before they make uninformed attacks on teachers. Sounds to me like the wrong person was forced into resignation.

Even teachers have a right to privacy and the human body should not be something that anyone should be ashamed of. I could understand if Mrs Arthur was intentionally distributing pornography, but in this case it was not a pornographic photo and she did not distribute it. This appears to be an abuse of power by a superintendent that has self nominated himself as moral police.

This student did what he did with malice in mind and should be held accountable.

If the lady had a picture in her purse and kids stole it would you still blame her? Or if her pic was in her car would you still? It's just plan stupid to blame her for someone stealing her phone when so many times anyone can steal anytime.. To make her resign is a huge mistake and seriously she should sue.. but instead wants her job.. Do the right thing here and punish the little brat and give her job back.. And before ou claim contributing as. A lawyer I would like to see movies order by parents for last 5 years, channels kids have access to and interview all the kids to determine sexual activity .. Meaning don't play a game like that when I can see naked people anywhere any time and yes even teachers have private moments ..

This student in essence stole these photos. The >strudent< posted them. They were never meant for public consumption. Nor did this teacher have any intention of doing so. If the superintendent had private letters stolen from him and posted on the school walls, much less the internet, would we say that he needed to resign be fired? Finally, when are we going to say that a person's private life is just that-- nobody else's business. Reinstate this teacher.

This woman should be reinstated, given back pay and an apology from the administrator.

This woman is not in any way at fault with what happen .Who should be dealt with and remove from the school is the student because her privacy was violated which is very unfair .

As a former school administrator, this is a blatant invasion of this woman's privacy. Is she not allowed to used the restroom etc. during class breaks. This student is not in JH. This lady deserves her job back. I cannot see how she has done anything wrong. Her privacy has been invaded. This is no different than a student going through her purse or a student going through your wallet.

Teachers are just people who give their lives to make a difference...this being said, they still have personal lives and should be allowed to keep them personal. I do this she should have had a password on her phone, but people make dumb mistakes. I am she she never for an instant thought this would happen as things happen we when least expect them.

I've read her story and she should not have been fired. It wasn't her fault. If I left the classroom, say, to go to the bathroom, and the teacher took my phone off my desk, went into my gallery, and was taking pictures of nudes from my phone, would I be kicked out of school? Or would the teacher get in trouble? My point is, this wasn't her fault. Periof

This is what is wrong with the world. I hope she sues the school district and the student. This is why kids will never learn right from wrong. There are never consequences for their actions.

It is pretty obvious that the student was wrong here for many, many reasons, and the school as well.
