She was an excellent teacher. My son had her in the 7th grade. Bring her back and punish the ones responsible for invading her privacy.

I think it's sad that her phone got picked up by another student and they did what they did to her which by the way isn't her fault that phone is hers and what it contains is her privacy don't punish her for the students act of invading her privacy it's plainly wasn't her fault

This is just wrong! How does someone lose their job because a student took her phone and went through her personal pictures? The student needs to be expelled and Leigh Ann Arthur needs her job back.

I do not know Mrs. Arthur very well due to the fact that I do not have her as a teacher but I believe that she should not get fired. No one should have went through her phone because that is a serious invasion of privacy. Give her her job back, she doesn't deserve to loose her job over some ignorsnt action performed by a student.

What Mrs. Arthur is doing in her class is trying to help some of the kids of Union County better themselves. This is not only putting a good person out of job but you are hurting the students that she teaches. What is going to happen to the mechatronics program now? Mechatronics is a major source of employment in the County and we don't need to take this from our kids. School is to prepare our kids for their future not take people and programs away that will help them to succeed.

There is no reason for her to have been forced to resign when it was an attack upon her and I'm tired of good teachers getting punished at this school but it appears that the students can just do whatever they want with no consequences
