I can't believe the school blames the teacher.. It's almost like a cop telling a rape victim it's their fault because of the way they dress. Talk about getting victimize twice. Is this how the school want to teach their student, especially female students?

COME ON! Appalling treatment of an educator who did nothing but share private pictures with her husband.

I'm appalled to hear of this injustice. Clearly she is a good teacher and should not be punished for "allowing" a student to invade her privacy and publicly humiliate her. The student who victimized her probably only did it out of petty retaliation for some instance where she had to do her job and be a teacher. The school is sending the message that it's ok to bully others, including your teachers.

This was a blatant violation of her reasonable expectation of privacy. Even if her phone was unlocked it's not as if taking property from an unlocked home isn't theft. What she's does in her own home, between consenting adults, has no bearing on her abilities as an educator

Teacher deserves her job back. Kid deserves to be expelled from school. He should be facing criminal charges.

This is blatant sexism at best, this will set a bad precedent for years to come. That kid is a terrible person and I hope his decision haunts him his whole life. It's callous at best and the school staff are to blame as well. If you don't want bad teachers, stop treating teachers badly

If anyone should be experiencing ANY disciplinary action, it's the student that made the INCREDIBLY illegal decision to steal Arthur's phone, breach the privacy and security, access private and sensitive data illegally, and share said private and sensitive data ILLEGALLY. Arthur's actions have in no way violated any law in the United States, while every step the student took is a massive violation. Arthur's career should not be jeopardized by a criminal acting out against her in a very premeditated and vile manner.

This school is a disgrace. I understand protecting the children due to the content of the picture. This child did everything with malicious intent and obtained the content on their own. If the teacher had sent it, then the teacher deserves to be reprimanded but they didn't do it. The student did this all on their own, therefore they are the ones who need to be reprimanded.

Make the student accountable for this theft and do the right thing by hiring back the teacher in question. What you've shown the world is a district that is misogynistic and unfair in the extreme.

May this injustice done to you be soon reversed. The student who violated and stole your personal property should be expelled and prosecuted.

Shame the student for being a thief.

The teach, Mrs. Arthur, had a private picture of herself which she, in private, was only intended for her husband. She did nothing wrong and did not make any "mistake". The fact that a student stole the picture for uses other than intended, while invading all sense of privacy, committed a seriously illegal act, in no way provoked by Mrs. Arthur. She should not be punished in any way and should be reinstated, along with a sincere apology by the Super Intendent and the Board. The student which committed this henous act must be punished severely by expulsion.

The student who went into this teachers phone and everyone on the school board who was involved should face consequences. And then beg forgiveness from this teacher.
