This is a genuine case of malicious theft. This woman as I see it has done nothing wrong. She loves her husband and this should never go against her.

Leigh Anne Arthur did nothing wrong, a student went into her property and privacy and should be punished for his actions for being the person doing these unacceptable actions by posting the racy photos on social media.

The fact that I need to sign a petition to support someone's privacy is absolutely insane. The child took someone else's phone, invaded the privacy of the user of that phone, and now the user of said phone is publicly shamed and fired because of these illegal actions of an individual. This is a shameful slice of how individuals in power are using misguided viewpoints to try and support their shaming of another. I also hope anyone who does not see how poorly this reflects upon both the school and those in power are taught valuable lessons from the handling of this incident.

She has a right to have nude photos of her body in her phone. That perpetrators had 0 business being in her phone, let alone sending it alone. Punish the poorly mannered students, not the innocent teacher!

Is there contact information for David Eubanks so he can receive an e-mail from every person who stands behind Mrs Arthur? Let's see if he thinks this is insignificant then!

The student must be punished for stealing her personal property (phone, pictures) then damaging her image, not to mention the harassment she gets from this action. She is the victim. This is victim blaming. No one has the right to invade my home because I didn't lock the door. He has no right to invade her phone.

DAVID EUBANKS - you should resign for not taking what is clearly a sexual crime seriously and for blaming the victim!!!

The student/thief should be prosecuted! The teacher ABSOLUTELY should have the expectation that her private info on her phone should be safe in her own classroom.

This was a private text between herself and her HUSBAND. It isn't like she was doing anything with students or the public. Firing her was absolutely ridiculous.

The teacher is the innocent victim and should be reinstated with an apology. The guilty student should be expelled after being punished in front of his classmates, A good spanking is called for!
