Totally unjust treatment of Mrs. Arthur. The student who effectively STOLE her phone, AND deliberately circulated private and confidential photos/ information should be punished severely by both the school and the law. Mrs. Arthur should be re-instated as soon as possible.

Digital trespass is a real crime and it's about time we start taking it seriously. It is 2016 and the digital activity is a foundation of so many people's lives. It's only going to expand from here and we need to solve these problems now.

Shame on the administration just as much as the thieving student.

The person who should be losing their job is David Eubanks who has proved that he is not qualified to do this job properly.

Ridiculous that you are blaming the teacher for the horrendous behavior of the student. That student should be expelled and the teacher reinstated. I think that perhaps the superintendent should be replaced too.

Here we see another case of blaming and punishing the victim. The only thing Leigh Anne Arthur did wrong was to believe that her property would be left alone and trust that no one would invade her privacy. The student in question violates her privacy by getting into her pictures and sends them out on social media? As if this weren't enough, he tells her, "Her day of reckoning is coming..."? And SHE is the one being vilified? Unconscionable. Do the right thing and reinstate Leigh Anne Arthur and expel this malicious student.

Its absolutely insane that this teacher was forced to resign! It was an incident of wrong doing by the student and the student should be penalized, not the teacher!

This is a disgrace. She was the victim! She was following protocol by being in the hallway supervising students. Her rights were violated!!! This should be changed and she should be rehired and the young man sent to a different school! For shame!

She hasn't done anything wrong and has nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about. That little boy has ruined someone's career and maybe more. Damn fool. She is not to blame for his actions he should be severely punished.

This woman's privacy was grossly invaded and yet she is the one that is being punished for it, not only once, but twice. This is wrong and the decision to force her to resign needs to be reversed.

The school board's handling if the situation is total bull. That student is guilty of Sexual harassment at the least. Is there cell phone password protection clause in that teachers employment contract?? If not, they opened themselves up to one hell of a lawsuit. Fortunately for them the teacher they wronged seems to classy to escalate the situation further.

As a parent I believe students should be held responsible for their actions. Teachers are entitled to a personal life and to not have their lives ruined by the actions of stupid and childish actions of students. This is clearly a well respected teacher and she should be re instated. I am from England and support this teacher one hundred percent.

The teacher's photos are her own private business, and absolutely should not have been copied by the student. The teacher is not at fault here.
