That terrible brat of a child needs to be punished, not the teacher. It's obvious that the board of the school hates women. No other reason for the outcome. Give the teacher her job back. Join us in 2016. Get with the times.

Bring back Mrs. Arthur. I'm long out of school but I get the feeling she is a loved teacher and one who most likely gets through to students and that is whats most important.

This student is in the wrong here! There are far worse incidents happening between teachers and students that need to be focused on! This is not one of them! Mrs. Arthur deserves and apology AND he job back!!!! Shame on the school board staff for putting this on an innocent teacher who had her privacy invaded!

It is pretty messed up how this situation is handled. She should keep her job and the student should be expelled for this. A celebrity like Jennifer Lawrence nude photos were leaked to the media. And the theft were punished for their crimes. This case should be treated the same. Why should she be punish for someone who violated her privacy? No matter where the phone is, on the desk, in her purse, whether it's locked or not. A student doesn't have the right to go through someone's else property. He should be put in the right place and get expelled and learn his lesson.

Stealing a phone and accessing it should be a punishable crime just like stealing a purse or wallet

It seems to me instead of harassing this teacher you need to be suspending the student that took her phone. He committed a theft and depending on the price of the phone it could be a felony. He also violated this teacher's privacy.

I live in Germany and I read online about this. There is just one thing to say...it is 2016. Such private!!! photos are nothing special. She had a nice idea for her husband and that is what she gets? Really? Can`t belive how uptight and afraid some people are. If you thing such things are wrong, you should think about your sexuality. There is something wrong with it.
And finally again: The pictures were private. She didn`t send them to everybody and said: "Hey look I am naked!"

It's the teachers fault that a student stole her cell phone, stole pictures and posted them? Wow... Superintendent David Eubanks is failing his students, their parents and his entire staff.

The fact that Ms. Arthur didn't have a lock on her phone remains trivial; the student had three chances to not make a poor decision but he acted on all of them,

What a person has on their phone is their business. The theft of the phone was a criminal offense and the culprit should be held responsible, not the teacher. It's wrong and it's disgusting.

It's asinine administrators like you, Mr Eubanks, people who make VICTIMS bear the brunt of someone's crime, much like women who are raped are often blamed for instigating the assault, that allow perpetual stereotypes of backwards southerners to prevail. Shame in you! Reinstate this teacher immediately, you backwards thinking rock brained ifiot.
