Mr. Sheehan was one of my daughters favorite teachers,,,he kept her "hanging in there" for her Math classes...also kept me as a parent informed and never seemed to pass judgement. He was a valuable asset to THS and to my daughter.

My grandsons go to Trinity and I have another grandchild starting next year. My grandson Shane shared with me over the holidays how much he likes having Mr. Sheehan as a math teacher. It's not often you hear teenagers randomly speak about a teacher that is positively impacting their life. Please take into consideration how Mr. Sheehan has made a difference in the lives of our loved ones and bring Mr. Sheehan back!

I've known Bill since he was in first grade. The Trinity community is fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring educator.

I see many petitions come my way, but this one is definitely one I can sign with no doubt. This teacher, this man, this mentor was an instrumental part of my daughter's career at Trinity and I can't fathom the empty place that has been left in his absence. More teachers should be like Mr. Sheehan. More schools could only wish for someone of his substance! BRING HIM BACK. The students deserve him in their lives!

Mr. Sheehan is the kind of teacher that inspires all of his students. He always has the biggest smile on his face, ready to face any challenges that the day would bring him. Little did I know that this man would have such a everlasting impact on me. He was more than a teacher to many students, he was a friend that we all could talk to. Trinity is truly empty without him. So many students feel like they lost a role model, mentor, teacher, and most importantly a friend. He is what makes Trinity so special and different from other schools. He one of the reason why I love this school so much.

Graduated in 2013. Have to say he was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I'll do whatever I can to help bring him back.

Mr. Sheehan was one of the most selfless people I've ever known and helped me with school and life at Trinity. He is one of the reasons I loved Trinity so much and anyone who has ever known him would say exactly the same.

Trinity was never a place I enjoyed or felt comfortable. Many teachers at Trinity preached hate and intolerance. Most days I hated being here and was constantly disappointed by the faculty and staff. Mr. Sheehan was different. He was kind and compassionate. He made me laugh and tried his very best to teach me the mysteries of geometry and statistics. My friends and I would be in his room early in the morning to hang out and talk, as well as during lunch and after school. It was the only place in that entire school that ever felt safe and accepting. Mr. Sheehan's compassion for his students was so clear, and during those vulnerable teen years it was so needed. This man was always known to go above and beyond for his students and to get rid of him is an absolute shame, especially in a school that is already so exclusive, intolerant, and hateful. Very sad about this, my heart goes out to him and his family and all the students there now who find comfort in his classroom.

I first met Billy Sheehan long before he was a teacher at Trinity. Our paths crossed in our former careers and he had a lasting impact and I thought of him often over the years. Imagine my surprise and delight when my oldest daughter enrolled at Trinity in 2010! His kindness, friendship, support and guidance over the years not only for my girls and me but for all Trinity families is truly astounding and represents the remarkable man he is and the best that Trinity High School has to offer. He deserves better than the silence that surrounds his absence in the classsroom and the hallways of Trinity. The thought of not seeing his joyful presence in the choir, at the fashion show and other year-end school events, or Baccalaureate and graduation is heartbreaking. He is a man of integrity and honor and it would be a travesty if he is unable to return to his beloved Trinity High School. We love you and are praying for you!

This is a substantial loss to the Trinity community! He is an amazing person and his values are everything I would think this high school wants and needs. I am sad that this has happened and hope this negative impact was worth it. Such an amazing person.

A selfless man. A helpful man. Someone who never gave up on me, despite my problematic ways through my years of academic achievement at THS. Billy Sheehan is one of the reasons I hold Trinity so close to my heart. His ability to make you feel accepted and able to do whatever you want in life if you work hard is seldom found in our time. Whatever this is, this is a mistake. Billy, I hope you come back home soon. We all love you so much.
