Mr. Sheehan was the backbone to this school. He still is everyone's favorite teacher, and the hallway just doesn't feel the same without him. If you didn't have him for a teacher, like myself, he still managed to created a connection with you. Mr. Sheehan has always been there for me. His room was my safe place when I was having a rough day. There's no other teacher like him at Trinity. He's done more for Trinity than any other teacher. He isn't only a teacher to us students, but he's also a mentor, a shoulder to lean on, a conscience, and most importantly a friend. Some adults may not understand that, and that's okay, but understand this if anything: Mr. Sheehan has helped every single student that has walked through Trinity High School. He understands us, where our heads are at when we have a lot going on, he never judges, he is loyal, and he truly cares about us. Yes, he wants us to do well in school and succeed in life, but at the end of the day he just wants us to be happy. He wants to not only teach us math skills, but moral skills. He teaches us life skills, and how to pick yourself up when you get knocked down. Mr. Sheehan, we need you back.

Mr Sheehan was one of my favorite teachers at Trinity and he was actually never one of my teachers. He truly cares about every student in that school even if they don't sit in his class room.

Mr. Sheehan truly cared about each and every one of his students inside the class room and out. I did not have him as a teacher until my senior year but he always made a point to check in with me and make sure all was okay. Mr. Sheehan is the reason I am pursuing my college degree. He believed that I had a knack for statistics and pushed me to study actuarial science. I am now in my junior year and still use what I was taught during his statics class to help me in my courses. He is a back bone of Trinity, and has influenced more students lives than most of the teachers there.

I never had Mr. Sheehan as a teacher, but it was evident that he was an amazing one. For my two years at Trinity, he welcomed me and made me feel safe and comfortable at school. The man can make anyone smile and makes every person that walks through the doors of THS know how he felt being a Pioneer. Mr. Sheehan is the epitome of pride, spirit, and tradition and it the school will not be the same until he returns.

Mr. Sheehan was a great teacher and made the Trinity family that much better. It would be a shame to see him leave and leave that hole behind.

When you think of Trinity, you think of Mr. Sheehan. I don't think anyone can love their job more than Billy. He has the biggest heart and truly cares about every single one of his students. I had the pleasure of having him as a teacher my senior year and it was one of the best classes to walk into because Billy made you feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home. He was always there to lend a helping hand, and he helped me through one of the toughest times in my life when my cousin James Puchacz, a Trinity alum, passed away. To this day I see him out and about and he is so genuinely excited to see how I am doing. There is no one more deserving to teach at Trinity than Billy. He is the heart and soul of THS and the school will never be the same without him. Bring Mr. Sheehan home.

Mr. Billy Sheehan will forever be one of the best teachers I have come across in my lifetime, even after 2 years in college. I never even had him as a teacher, but I didn't have to to fully understand what a gift he is to both Trinity High School and the world. Not only is he an excellent professor, of which I know as he has taught both my older and younger siblings and many of my friends, but he cares about the students more than any teacher or person I have ever met. When parents can't be there, he is there. When you can't be there for yourself, he is there to pick you back up. Although I never had class with him, he always made a point to get to know me, to joke with me, laugh with me, or just ask how my day was going. He encouraged me to get involved in extra curricular activities that serve the community, as he devoted so much of his time to Habitat for Humanity and even a service trip to the Saint Francis Inn every summer. He continuously would take time out of his day to care for his students, not just about their grades but their wellbeing. He showed up every single day early, excited, and with the biggest smile on his face. There is no teacher that loves Trinity High School more than Mr. Sheehan, and no teacher that is more beloved by his students than him. He would never do a thing to harm a student or put anyone in jeopardy. If Trinity does not bring him back, it will be the school's loss, as they are losing the kindest, most caring, smartest, most genuine man in the world.
