Mike’s Chance Animal Rescue has saved hundreds of animal lives. Animals should be a priority. Fort Worth animal shelter should be ashamed for the decision to stop Mike’s Rescue from saving animal lives.

I follow the Fort Worth Animal Shelter page and, on many occasions, I have been worried sick about a particular dog only to later see it tagged for rescue by Mike’s, to my relief. I know the story, they should’ve got a health certificate for Snowy, 100% without question. But can’t this be used as a teaching moment and not ban their involvement? These dogs need all the help they can get and Mike’s has consistently been on the front lines. Please reconsider allowing Mike’s to participate in rescuing dogs from FWACC again. Thank you.

This is absolutely outrageous. It clearly shows your intent to ‘help’ these animals when you cut ties with a rescue who has always tried to save these dogs and has already saved hundreds! The fact that these shelters are letting one thing get in the way of them saving another hundred dogs shows just how despicable people could be. These poor dogs are in the hands of people who would rather let them die than try to give them a second chance. With the major animal crisis going on, this is absolutely disgusting on their part!
