This Petition is to share with the shelter and city to demand Mike’s Chance Rescue be welcomed to rescue dogs from FWACC shelters. Without Mike’s Chance hundreds to thousands of dogs will die. There are many people involved in rescue and anyone doing it knows it’s not easy but it takes a VILLAGE. The shelter’s protocols in vetting new owners is non-existent. They have no right to pull moral superiority. We need them back now! I’m sure many of you like myself have worked with Mike’s and they have been amazing! They save so many dog’s lives and care so much about them! We need them, but most of all this is about the dogs. Not about politics and ego. This is a CRISIS and we don’t have time for shelter games. If the shelter will not meet our demands, then we will continue our investigation into their own procedures. Concentrating on a movement of change until outrageous euthanasia totals improve.
