Final supporters
To All "Halloween" Fans
Inspired by an article on BloodyDisgusting.com entitled "If You Could Remake 'Halloween' or 'Hellraiser', What Would You Do?", I started thinking about this very question.
I realized the fans don't want yet another remake explaining why Michael is evil. They simply want Michael to be the evil boogeyman stalking the streets of Haddonfield on Halloween night. They want to see The Shape on the big screen in all of his ominous glory. They want a suspenseful, scary, startling "Halloween" film to enjoy that harkens back to the roots of the franchise.
I believe I can make that film for the fans. I have already written a treatment for the film entitled "Halloween: The New Harvest". It would bring The Shape back with a vengeance and introduce new characters that we could follow for multiple films. My idea lends itself to a sort of contained trilogy within the Halloween universe, much like the Jamie Lloyd arc in 4 through 6.
I want to take various elements from the original series and reinvent them, correcting a few of the minor missteps that took place within the series (Cult of Thorn, anybody?).
I urge you, the fans that spend your money on these films, to help get me one step closer to bringing a fan's vision to the big screen. I simply would like to meet with Dimension Films in regards to the possibility of making "The New Harvest" a reality. As I am only an indie writer/director from the South, I have no ties to "the industry". We need to make some noise so that they hear us, "Bring back Michael Myers!”

The momentum behind this proposal has grown into something truly significant. It is heartening to see that so many fans share my desire for a return to the roots of the series.

Halloween 4 was the last good one honestly. lets get back to the basics.
JUST BRING HIM HOME TO HADDONFIELD. NO MORE BACKSTORIES.
totally agree with this. the originals are gold and we need something that captures that same feeling instead of the new junk.
PLEASE keep the cult stuff out of it. Michael is way scarier when he is just a silent guy in a mask stalking people in the dark.
im sick of seeing him humanized. he works best as pure evil.

The movies just havent been the same since the reboots. We just want the real Myers back. Need that classic mask vibe again.
