The school board reversed their decision and the majorettes will be returning to the field. I am exhausted but relieved that our hard work finally paid off. We still need to keep a close eye on the budget to ensure this program stays for good.

CHS is a great place for our students. They have offered so many new activities such as the shotgun, fishing and gaming teams. We would love for majorettes to once again be part of the activities offered at Central High School. If you agree, please sign this petition to bring back our majorettes!

I have spent the last few days talking to school board members and the lack of a clear answer is starting to wear on me. It is exhausting to keep pushing when the silence from the administration feels so deliberate. I am not stopping though because our students deserve the chance to bring this tradition back.

I am a former Central High School majorette. I sincerely hope you will bring back the majorette corp.
as a majorette myself, i can tell you that there is no better feeling than performing for a crowd. plus, the majorettes almost always have the highest scores at competitions. don’t deny girls the right to show off what they’ve worked on so hard!!
Twirling is an experience that I feel everyone should have the chance to be exposed to. Yes we have color guard but the twirling team would help us out even more and give the color guard and the marching pride some more pazazz.
We need majorettes back in the band. They need to continue performing so that when they go to college they are able to tryout for majorettes of their colleges they are attending.
If you can have a video gaming team. Why can’t you have majorettes? Does not make sense!
Yes we need to bring majorettes back!!!! Got my vote!!
This should definitely happen!

The Central High School Marching Pride has earned so much recognition for their accomplishments as a team, but I miss the exciting majorettes that were always front and center when I went to Central! Please find it in your heart to bring it back! These girls deserve a chance to represent the Pride with this beautiful talent.
