Today A&E has announced that they are following suite with paramount in cancelling their officer friendly show. What has happened to George Floyd is truly a sad thing. HOWEVER, I think the cancellation of such shows is unnecessary. Anyone who has taken the time to watch them gets a raw look into our society as it stands and gives people the opportunity to see exactly what these officers risk daily to protect their civilian neighbors. I believe by such actions taken by networks they are only affirming what anyone with half a brain knows not to be true and that is that all cops are bad. I believe now more than ever it is our turn to stand up with all of our blue line neighbors in support. We cannot continue to stand idly by while they try to break down our justice system in every form imaginable.
