On March 24, 2015 Fox announced "The Next Mind-Bending Chapter is Coming!". The X-Files are coming back as a Six Episode Event Series, with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their roles as
FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

During an interview on Letterman, David Duchovny also confirmed that Mitch Pileggi and William B. Davis will return as Walter Sergei Skinner and C. G. B. Spender/Cigarette Smoking Man.

However, to make the shows return perfect, someone is missing! The incredibly talented Nicholas Lea gave us one of the most iconic characters (and memorable kiss) on the show: Alex Krycek... FBI-Agent, Traitor, Resistence Fighter, Murderer, Savior, Blackmailer, Henchman, Victim, Enemy, Lover, Thief, Friend. Even a bullet in the head couldn't stop him from fighting the future.
