Kelly Bates is the most pleasant weather reporter on any Rhode Island station and the most reliable forecaster .... without her I will not be watching channel 10 WJAR news again

Giving her a terrible contract and only part time work is forced termination. Wishing Kelly the best and making sure to “turn off ten”

Honesty is critical for a news organization. We all know why so just tell the truth. She was a mother with a mother's body. The reality is some of us mothers like seeing real on TV which means truth is being told to us. The honesty and integrity of Channel 10 is severely in question if you fire what is real and go for a body type to be seen. So you want us all to believe a body type is more important than experience and knowledge. Btw Channel 10 it is not 1950s its 2021 just so you know. Maybe fired some skinny guys that continue to be wrong with the weather forecast over and over again then blame everyone else for the mistakes.

I want Kelly reinstated as meteorologist or I won’t be watching your news broadcast anymore. I’ll switch my viewing to WPRI Tony Petrucka and that crew and so will all my friends and family. It Was definitely wrong to let her go

I would like to see them explain what kind of contract they offered Kelly. Did they cut her pay, change her schedule, cut her benefits or all of the above??

Please bring Kelly back with a full time contract. She does need to be treated with such disrespect.

Enjoyed her as a meteorologist. I know Anthony is the next in waiting and he is very good as well. Just sad you can't keep both of them.
