I’ve watched channel 10 news since I was 5 years old. Kelly Bates is one of the reasons that I even watch!!! She has a positive outlook and does her job well! Why would you let someone this extraordinary go?!? I PROMISE YOU THAT I WILL ALSO STOP WATCHING CHANNEL 10 NEWS UNLESS YOU BRING HER BACK! LOVE KELLY BATES!!!

Bring Kelly Bates back! I can only imagine what had happened and the pressure that the network put on her for her to make a decision like that unfair she was trusted name in the community and its television was a person very bad decision to let her go at whoever's choice it was.

First Zach Green leaving.... then Frank left.... and now Kelly Bates... just after she was voted BEST FEMALE METEOROLOGIST? Who came up with that decision to not renew her contract and what were they thinking????? I love your show, but cannot support such treatment of clearly a seasoned, valued and award winning meteorologist. Please bring Kelly Bates back as meteorologist.

I was shocked to learn that WJAR had fired Kelly bates! Time for the 6:00 news and I've got it tune to channel 12. I will do everything I can not to watch your station! She was her favorite here in our region and I can't imagine why you let her go.

We had already given up Channel 10 weekday mornings, no reason to watch the weekends anymore now. There was no better on-air presence than Kelly Bates at Channel 10 or any channel. Big mistake.
