She IS the best! My family will miss her and WJAR can now miss us. Quality matters. Please reconsider and give her what she deserves.

My husband and I are both pilots and sailors and always pay special attention to the weather. Kelly was the very, very best, The most qualified by far! NBC10, you would be so lucky to have her back and you should give her a huge pay raise to boot! I have far less reason to turn your channel on now.

She’s awesome. Love the way she delivers the forecast. Very clear and she breaks it all down. Bring her back or I’m tuning out!

Please return Kelly Bates to the WJAR Weather Team. She is my favorite TV meteorologist - so informative and accurate forecasts. We need to see her more often than just weekends and the occasional fill-in spots. I enjoy watching WJAR News because they have the best local weather reports and Kelly is one of the best. However I'm seriously considering switching to another TV station because of this change. Sinclair Broadcasting, this move reeks of age and body type discrimination. Do the right thing and return Kelly Bates to Channel 10.

Kelly was the meteorologist I trusted. Hiring a less experienced person from the outside instead of moving up those that have given you their all for years is shameful. No longer watching NBC10.

Bring Kelly back! And Sinclair keep your dirty hands out of local politics and your brainwashed words out of the mouths of WJAR’s On Air Talent and Journalists. It’s not Journalism if an entire country of Anchors are reading the same slanted script and reporting it as news.

What a despicable action WJAR has taken with the terrible treatment of Kelly Bates. She is a trusted, competent, and professional broadcaster. This decision smacks of ageism and discrimination based on her physical attributes. I hope she sues the crap out of WJAR. I'd love to face the swinging genius who made this decision. You are a community based station, not some great national news outlet. You forgot that. How soon before Patrice Wood and Mario Hilario are let go by you clowns?

Goodbye Channel 10:
-Viewership plummeting
-Local market up in arms
-Ratings about to be flushed
-Sinclair seen as a carpet-bagger
-Corporate notes Vetter's gaffe
-Insiders saving info for lawsuits
-Discovery will find smoking gun
-Station morale very low
-Resumés are getting updated
-Plans made at the water-cooler
-Cardi's will pull advertising
She IS the best! My family will miss her and WJAR can now miss us. Quality matters. Please reconsider and give her what she deserves.
