I have always loved Kelly. She is kind, approachable, and passionate about her work and community. I am disgusted and appalled that she is being replaced for her looks and age. She has a possible lawsuit opportunity here. I will no longer watch WJAR10 unless Kelly is reinstated.

Kelly Bates is the best meteorologist on TV my husband and I can't wait to see her on the weekends she is like family I am heartbroken and angered about this decision from channel 10. I believe that this is discrimination because of her weight and shame on channel 10. I will not be watching channel 10 again until this issue is resolved.

What were they thinking letting one of the best meteorologist go. My mom watches every Sunday. A few weeks ago she said you werent on Sat anymore. Kelly you'll do great wherever you go. !!!

I love Kelly's reports. She's so easy going, I feel like I know her personally and her passion for RI comes through. It's a big disgrace to let a treasure like her go!
