It is a huge mistake to let Kelly Bates go. She is the main reason I watch NBC. She is relatable, knowledgeable and a consummate professional. She has been on NBC a long time and is beloved. I won't continue watching without her. You should take care of her. She's been an immense asset and a loyal employee.

Kelly is the main reason I watch channel ten, she is not fake or acting ridiculous like some of the other broadcasters. She is a professional, you have lost a great asset in her and a loyal viewer in me.

She's a great Meteorologist. WJAR should work towards an equitable solution to reinstate Kelly! I'll be looking towards other news outlooks otherwise.

I suspect that the contract offered Kelly was not giving her what she deserved after so many years of service. I hope that WJAR will offer her a better contract when they realize how much she is loved by Rhode Islanders!

I have been watching Channel 10 for over 50 years … even when I moved to MA. Honestly, I will never watch channel 10 based on the way you have treated a long term employee. And honestly Kelly connects much better with your viewers than your new employees. Please reconsider your ill informed decision.
