Kelly was the best of the best. I only turned to watch her for the detailed weather report she is so capable of providing. I am appalled by the management of WJAR and will no longer watch that channel.
If Kelly wants back, bring her back.

I have been watching WJAR since I was a kid. I'm 61 now, and sad to say I will not be watching it at all until Kelly is back. Period.

I have always looked forward to seeing Kelly Bates on Channel 10. I am sad to hear of her termination. I did not think Channel 10 was that type of station. Please reconsider your decision. If not back on Channel 10, looking forward to following Kelly where ever she lands. Thank you, Kelly! ❤

I don't want a younger version. I want Kelly, just as she is, because she is perfect.

I also have moved to channel 12 until Kelly is returned full time. I absolutely love her knowledge, talent, experience and dedication. Hard to find these qualities. I have been a channel 10 viewer for 30 years. I am embarrassed for Channel 10. Bring Kelly back. Full time and I will return as a viewer.

Shame on management for increasing their profits while disreguarding its long term followers. This decision will cost the station its rating. I know for sure it cost this viewer of 50 years to switch to channel 12.

Her bright and personable personality is unmistakable. I am disappointed that my favorite news station would let go someone because of age or size.

Kelly Bates and Partrice Wood are the only reasons I continue to watch and support the advertisers of WJAR10. Sinclair's far-right views and the replacement of actual journalists with pretty faces have turned channel 10 from a local treasure into local trash.

Kelly was my main tv source for the weather. Kelly is a heartwarming person to watch. I just love her. Channel 10 you made a huge mistake.
