Bring Back Jonesy's Voice and Let Both Sides Speak!

I have always enjoyed Joney's column. It is a common sense straight forward look at important subjects. There needs to be both sides of controversial issues such as the wolf problem. We introduced the Mexican Gray Wolf here in Arizona and New Mexico and they have been nothing but a problem. I have seen, discussed and hunted them in Alaska and Asia. The people that live with them hate them. That may not be the position of folks who are not close to them but there are a lot of folks with their story to tell and all sides should be heard. I am disturbed with the side of the Jackson Hole News and Guide that there is only one side to any issue. I would like to see them reconsider reinstating Jonsey's column.

I have known Maury Jones for over thirty years and I enjoy his newsletters and columns. I hope you will reconsider bringing back his column to your newspaper. Thank you Gerald Dominguez

After reading the various comments, it seems apparent to me that Mr. Jones knows what he is talking about moreso than others who have printed opposing views. David Lines USA

Jonesy's view of the concerns of your area needs to be considered for the good of all of Wyoming!!

Both sides should have a voice in my opinion and I certainly do not consider myself as a conservative.

We are a small town and need to have a more balanced newspaper offering between the Liberal (Democratic) and Conservative, Republican opinions!!

We need to have a real local's view of local events and a more balanced expression of opinion columns and cartoons!!

Jonsey should be reinstated as a columnist and a formal apology should be given to him as well. He is one of the few columnist that backs up his writings with facts.

Do the right thing and bring back the Cowboy Common Sense column.

I thought we had freedom of speech here in America.

Newspapers that go down only the liberal road always seem to fail !!! Think about that !!

Jonesy speaks the Truth .... and he should NOT be muzzled! -- This is AMERICA! Bring him back. Out country has NO room for Stalinist or Clinton tactics.

Failure to produce both sides of an issue is central to a good newspaper than services not one or two but all constituencies. Jonesy is fair and consistent and Jackson needs the rest of the story...

We need to have both sides of every issue in order to form an educated decision
