I am very sad to hear the JHN&G is dropping Joensy editorial column which is a very unconstitutional approach to what use to be a nice news guide to read. It's horrible to see the negative change that is taking effect in our dear Country day by day. This is another prime example of who you know, not what you know.

I'll miss Jonesy's Cowboy Common Sense column. Truly an article based on common sense.

I agree. The JHNG is and has been liberal and environmental for too long. I will not buy it anymore and have not purchased it for years.

This is a really sad day in Jackson/Teton County - the PC drivel published by the N&G will now be the only point of view in that publication. Jonesy's columns we're ALWAYS supported by facts and, whenever available, numbers, from government sources. The screaming liberal replies to his columns were masterpieces of emotional PC ridicule, and never presented a single rational, empirical argument. So of course, Jonesy's column must be ended by the "editorial staff" at the newspaper. Despicable, unbelievably biased, and cowardly. Oh well, the N&G will provide fresh lining for the bottom of my bird cage every now and again.

A local gentleman who has his head on straight, who can put it down on paper in simple logical form, is committed to making the Valley a better place, and the management of the JHN&G shuts him down. Unbelievable!

I am surprised that your newspaper is afraid to have a balanced content. I feel that Maury's column is an asset and not a liability.

it's really hard to get to the truth when only one side is heard.

As indicated in the body of the petition, JHN&G reporters rarely seek out and report non-liberal view points. If they do, there is often a misquote or an omission clouding the intention of the speaker's actual words. It is disappointing to see our local paper join in the disgraceful and rampant liberal media bias of our national news outlets.

Our freedom of choice is diminished when only one side is presented.

Sometimes the truth hurts, it appears to me that Jonesy's writings has hurt some sensitive people and in order to "feel good" all the time, they have gotten rid of him, how refreshing the liberal bliss must be. Let him write and let us decide, how can you make a decision when there is only one side to the argument presented?
