We, loyal fans of J.K. Rowling, the wizarding world of Harry Potter, and Pottermore, ask that the interactive aspects of Pottermore be restored. Pottermore was a community. It has been reduced to a Buzzfeed-like series of listicles and regurgitated information. "5 Death Eaters We Will Never Forget" and "11 Times Snape was Difficult to Please" aren't what fans want when they come to Pottermore. We can go to any number of sites for that sort of thing, only tangentially related to what we love about the Harry Potter world. Please listen to the overwhelmingly negative feedback from loyal fans and bring back what we loved- community, gaming, and magic.

I was just looking at the site again and it feels so empty compared to how it used to be when we could actually explore the chapters. People keep messaging me with these amazing stories about their old houses and the dueling club and it honestly makes me miss those late nights spent trying to get the rarest wand core even more.

Pottermore was much more interesting before. True Harry Potter fans value even the smallest things that are relevant to the world of Harry Potter. Pottermore was our full moon amidst a thousand stars.
I recently created a Pottermore account because I heard from my friends that you can actually take magic classes on the website..what I didn't expect was a website similar to Buzzfeed.
The old Pottermore felt like home. Used to go everyday. Now though, i don't even bother. An Interactive fan site is what we want.
Pottermore was wicked fun before! Everyone RolePlayed in the chat, played the games, and everyone talks about it! Pottermore is fading from memory now. With the comment section gone, how can we RolePlay? With the games gone, how can we be a wizard? With the fun gone, how can we talk about Pottermore?
It's nice to read new things. But the interactive pottermore was exceptional. A truly unparalleled experience that was gone to soon. Could it be possible to have both? The interactive section of Pottermore and then the new content as well. Still so many who would be enriched by the interactive experience of the books.
When I found out what they had done with Pottermore, I cried. The old Pottermore was amazing... making friends, brewing potions, duelling, collecting chocolate frog cards, competing for the House Cup, etc... The magic was real there, and when Pottermore closed, it took away that magic. I've been to WizardingWorld.com, and while you can do some stuff there (Hogwarts House, Wand, Patronus), the magic that made Pottermore a home for all of us Potter-fans is gone, and the new site is just a cheap imitation of that home. Please bring Pottermore back with all of its original interactive features, we miss it...

We loved the old Pottermore. It was a community, and now it's just a newsletter. If you're not going to bring the old Pottermore back, at least out some of the old features into the new website! What's the point of having an account solely for finding out your house and your wand? We want more!
