Bring back Hudson Park Pokestops

Playing PokemonGo at this park brought people together like nothing I've ever seen. My children were getting to know people of all ages and walks of life, which is a priceless experience. It's a shame a few disgruntled (to put it nicely) neighbors had to take this activity out of a public park. My kids are beyond disappointed, and I hope Niantic puts the stops back in the park.

I'm a Pokemon Go player that lives in the neighborhood. I understand that many of my fellow players are upset because the 2 pokestops are gone. I for one am not. The game is designed as a community game, and that I agree with. It is also designed to get people to move around and follow simple rules, such as knowing the time parks close and sticking to it. Ask yourselves if you did that? Many didn't. Those pokestops have been Ingress portals for multiple years, and Ingress players never caused issues with anyone in the neighborhood. I'm a player of that game also.

I really loved going to Hudson Park to play Pokemon Go. People were respectful of the park and very friendly there. I'm sad to see a wonderful place meant for the public taken away by a select few.

The neighborhood complaints of garbage, loud noise and effigy mound destruction are unfounded and just plain false. I have visited Hudson park for years and can say with full confidence that the park has never looked better. Most players perform trash cleanup while playing, are respectful to the neighborhood in general and this is just a few ornery folks who don't understand the game complaining.

It is a public park. Key word: public. All of the times I've been there people have been respectful to the park. It is ridiculous when a select few believe they own the park to exclude others. Thank you.

It is a public park, where i met many decent people because of the pokestops. Please bring them back.

I'm not from the area, or even state, Iowan here. However I'm a huge fan of the game and follow the Madison group for tips and hopefully someday make the trip and take advantage of the Pokemon I don't get back home. A few cranky people don't have the right to take the pokestops away from a public park. So please bring them back.

I thought the park was a great thing. Lots of people would meet up and have a good peaceful time. Some weekends there would be cook outs to raise money for the parks department. The Park ranger was excited that people were using the park.

The wants of the few should not determine the pleasures of the many. Hudson Park had a great community of Pokemon go players, they were always kind, friendly, and we're always willing to try and coexist with the grumpy old man. We have raised money for the Parks Department, and we're always looking out for each other. I'm ashamed in Niantic for Bowing down to people like this. This old man had the nerve to refer to the public park as "his park". He cussed at us, berated us, and called the police on us. All to no avail. We were doing nothing illegal but having good clean fun. But now he sends an email to Niantic, and they immediately give in to his demands.

Bring Pome back to Hudson!

I came out of my way for this park (about 20 minutes) Wish it didn't have to go away.

This was my favorite place! So sad to see it gone. We did our best to keep the parks nice and litter free.

Please bring the stops back to Hudson Park! It is a great place with friendly people!

Bring them back, grouchy people don't own a public park. They shouldn't be able to dictate how public property is maintained, and it was a great communal place.

The park wasn't harmed in any means, whenever I was there no one was unruly or out of line. It's just a spot for people to keep cool I'm the shade and talk as well as hang out

This park has built a small community of pokemon go players who have been trying their best to please the people living in the neighborhood. From contacting the city and getting an extra trashcan. To even people asking those who park wrong to move. Its a few neighbors who are against us but the rest are actually quite friendly and curious about the game. We are quiet and respectful, sure there may be a few bad apples but we are a group have even tried to contain such by cleaning up after others and even watchijg the mounds to make sure no one is going on them. Dont let some neighbors kill what a park is meant for.

Parks are for the public. Let the public have fun.
