Gypsy is one of the most subtle and psychologically fascinating shows I have ever known. Not to mention how realistic the characters are. The amount of complexity, especially for the main character is hard to find. She's so complex, flawed, third dimensional and, personally, I find her quite relatable.
Female desire is rarely talked about. Exploring new ideas about ways of living, especially opening up to desire- in my opinion- is very needed for the female audicence.
I have never felt such connection to any show like I have with this one. I have never been so invested, so entrapped, so fascinated by a fictional world. How raw, intimate and honest this show feels.
Without a doubt, Lisa Rubin is one hell of a genius. I firmly believe she deserves a chance to finish this magnetizing story.
