No matter what various acerbic critics had said, this show is engaging, aesthetic, very well-performed and with much needed out-of-the-box characters! BRING IT BACK for a brilliant 2nd season!

LGBT shows barley even exist. Most of the time a show will throw in a lesbian scene for 5 seconds, just so they can say it's LGBTQ friendly, when it's not. Honestly the few shows or movies with any REAL lesbian love in them tend to be the same. Gypsy was special. It was sexy, dramatic, intense, thrilling, and complex. It gave a statement. It wasn't hiding the lesbian scenes it was shining a spotlight on them, on love. THATS why Gypsy is so important. Kids are already afraid of being gay, and when television treats LGBTQ romance like it's not something to be proud of, it makes it even harder. Jean herself has basically been hiding in a closet her whole life, and is torn between two sides of herself. She constantly struggles to maintain who she really is; right from wrong; white lies and real lies. Life is like that for a lot of LGBTQ kids, and seeing how not being true to yourself could cause problems in adulthood, well really makes you want to just be who you really are. Please bring Gypsy back. (With the same characters)

This is my favorite show. Please give it more seasons. I'm addicted. Watched it more than once. So many unanswered questions. It's not fair!
