While I am a huge fan of Greyhawk, and it is all I provide for the "Heroes of Hawethorne" the "Girls of Hawethorne" and my "Ladies of Hawethorne" campaigns in my game store. I am signing more to have the setting unlocked on DMs Guild than actually having WotC produce a book.
To modernize the setting would mean taking the "Gritty Medieval" feel out of it and having city streets populated with Bugbears, Tieflings and Dragonborn. You take what makes Greyhawk special and neutralize it in one sweep of the WotC scythe.
There is lots of great, theme appropriate content out there, unlock the DMs Guild and make more of it readily available without hurting what is a special setting.
While I want to see an influx of excitement and new players, I want them to love the setting for what it has been for decades.
I am a Greyhawk fan, it is all I provide. I don't want to see it become like any of the other settings so I sign with some hesitation.

There is a vast majority of the D&D community, who have supported WotC ever since D&D was acquired from TSR and through Magic the Gathering, that would greatly appreciate a Greyhawk book. Very similar to what was originally released, a world book with maps, lore, political factions and so forth. We have patiently waited and have been faithful through all WotC's endeavors. It is time to make this supplement. Thank you and keep up the fantastic work, it is truly appreciated.

Been running games there since the forever. Current Thursday Campaign: Archbarony of Blackmoor ... over 200 years before the current calendar. Future Tuesday Campaign: Back to Sterich just after the fall of Geoff to the Giants.

10,000 pre-orders of a GH book may get WotC's attention, but until the setting is introduced to the new generation of players as something appealing, it will not happen. FR has more lore and novels and will be the default world indefinitely.
I will always support this.
Germany loves Greyhawk, too
Start from the beginning.
Epstein didn't kill himself.
Please!
