They actually announced the classic settings are getting love and Greyhawk is finally back on the table. My coffee is cold because I have been staring at the screen for an hour just processing this news but honestly we did it. Keep your eyes peeled for the official drops because …
For to long Greyhawk, the original D&D world has been ignored by Wizards of the Coast and they need to bring it back. A new world supplement for 5th edition should be released and the world should be open to creators on DM's Guild.
I really thought this would just be me shouting into a void because honestly who talks about Greyhawk anymore but here we are at 250 signatures. It is honestly kind of surreal to see so many people still remembering the old days of the classic setting when I was sure everyone had moved on to the newer stuff.

This is the classic world we all started with. I’m currently running my crew through the Temple of Elemental Evil using 5e. This world deserves better than homegrown PDFs to make it work in 5e.

At the very least WoTC please do what you did with Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron! Even better take pre-orders for a Greyhawk 5E Setting book and let the money talk on how much love and support this legacy setting has from the community!

5 E really needs diversity in campaign settings not everything has to be a modern fantasy....have worlds with different feels like the old days.

I would love to see the box set updated by the likes of Luke Gygax and Joseph Bloch with both the original Darlene maps and new 576 topographical maps by Anna Meyer, even if via the DM's Guild.
One can dream...

I have played the setting for 30 years. There is some GREAT Fan content out there, including artwork, maps, etc. It should officially be brought into the mix. I'd definitely pay for new stuff. In particular, country-based guidebooks.

Been running games there since the forever. Current Thursday Campaign: Archbarony of Blackmoor ... over 200 years before the current calendar. Future Tuesday Campaign: Back to Sterich just after the fall of Geoff to the Giants.
