Bring Back Gear Shifter Stick to Acura!!!

I switched to Lexus RX 350 because of the push buttons instead of shifter. Lexus and BMW have shifters with electronic transmissions as well. I have owned many Honda and Acura MDXs but I was never satisfied with the push buttons!

the vehicles look emasculated and the button is not fun to drive. Paddle shifters suck too. Put it all back in the gear box PLEASE

I have done a lot of research and love the Acura RDX Aspec model but am cautious about investing as I've never spent so much for a vehicle before, But it's on the bucket list. The fact that the transmissions now are eliminating the gear shifter is partly the reason I am considering the Lexus RX instead. They should bring it back as it is counterintuitive. One naturally rests their hand in that position, giving the driving an ethereal physicality! Glad to know others are speaking out. ACURA BRING THE STICK BACK !!

I really want an Acura but I’d love if they had a regular gear shifter option. Those buttons are not it!!

Agreed. Love the brand, hate the electronic shifter buttons. Doesn't appeal to my generation of drive style. Bring back the gear shifter and retain customers.

Acura needs to bring back stick gear selector ever if it’s electronic like BMW or Cadillac. Having the hand stick shifter keeps Acura drive sporty and fun . All it feels now is like driving a golf cart. And the design is terrible. Bring back the hand shifter in the middle. :) thank you to those who started this petition!

Hate, hate hate these stupid push buttons. Have no place to rest my hand and don’t like having to look down every time I want to change gears! Terrible! At least give us a choice.

I currently own and love my 2013 RDX. I just drove a 2017 RLX and was impressed with the quality and function of it's shifter. I will not buy a 2019 RDX if it has the stupid shift mechanism that is standard in today's MDX.

Prefer the more masculine look and feel of the traditional shifter.

I will not buy another Acura MDX with these new type of gear shifts and buttons. I also do not like that they lowered the height of the Acura it feels more like a minivan then my 2012 Acura please bring back the gear shift and the height of the Acura to make it more like a sporty SUV not like a van

I have had 4 acuras and i will not buy one without gear shift...my whole family have had on their lincolns and have traded also

I will be buying another brand unless they return to regular gear shifts real soon!
