This is a travesty, the shopping center is empty. You now need to constantly look at your watch. No longer relaxing to stop for a cup of coffee and leisurely shopping spree.

My almost 2 year old grandson loved to go play in the playland, especially in rainy or too sunny weather and then go to the Fresh Food restaurant in the food court. Paid parking makes it too expensive to go very often.

I used to go to the Cherry Creek mall mostly to hang out with my kids in the playground area and to shop at Express. However, I almost always ended up buying something from other stores since I was already there. Now I don't go at all. Last time I wanted to go to a White House Black Market store I drove all the way to Belmar even though I live 15 minutes away from Cherry Creek. Express doesn't see me anymore either. Neithe does Claire's, which is where my daughter invariable would take me after playing in the playground. I've been living here 10 years, and I NEVER had any problem finding parking, so like many people, I don't understand their reasoning at all.

Surely there are other ways to deal with those who are using the parking structure as their personal garage or to escape paying to park elsewhere while they work at locations other than Cherry Creek Shopping Center. It's not right to penalize legitimate shoppers for others' misuse of the parking structure. And, by extension, penalizing mall merchants by decreasing the number of shoppers.

I used to go to the mall 1-2 times per week to utilize the play area and always made purchases at the shops and food court. We still occasionally come to play but I no longer make purchases because we stick to the one hour free time limit. This leaves only enough time to play and leave. The shops at your mall are the ones truly paying for the cost of parking. If paid parking sticks around why not do a minimum purchase per hour for free parking program to increase purchases?

Free parking was better because I could go and look through all the stores and not rush around for stuff. I only go there now if I can't get the thing somewhere closer and try to always be in and out for free parking. I'm a college student I can't pay money for parking all the time

There are much better ways to deter people from taking advantage of the free parking than taking it away from mall customers. I no longer just go to cherry creek to shop, I get in and out within an hour and I know many people who do the same.

I will drive farther to shop now, in order to avoid paying for parking. The kids and I went to Westminster yesterday to see a movie we could have seen at Cherry Creek, but I didn't want to pay for parking.

Keeps customers from leisurely shopping in the mall. This was a ploy to keep shoppers away so businesses would lose business and move away so the mall can be torn down and more expensive condos built. Ugh
Bed, Bath & Beyond got the hint early and is already moving. Sears is next and then, the mall as soon as business keeps dropping. It will close if the parking doesn't change.

I have been shopping at the CC Mall since the original mall was built. No more. It's a greedy money grab. Paid to park? Stupidest idea ever!

Retailers are also paying a high price in lowered sales - some are closing/moving. Totally unfair decision on Cherry Creek management's side.

Paid parking is putting stores out of business and hurting the mall employees.

I will not go back until the parking is free again! That was the dumbest move because your mall is dead now and have lost tons of money!
