If a mall charges for its parking, more of a reason to drive a little further to go somewhere else. A huge pain that adds to the allready painful parking in the area.

Paid parking will only hurt the mall. I used to go all the time to stroll and look at the stores and now I make a point of being in and out in under an hour. I am not alone in doing that and it just affects sales.

Today I went to Safeway for a few things. This should have been a quick, no hassel shopping excursion - however, I was behind an individual who could not operate the parking machine on the way out. I had to back up and go out another exit. This is really, really sad.

I have never had to leave Cherry Creek shopping Center because I couldn't find a parking space… If you want to keep your system why not change it to four hours of free parking… Then people will have a chance to shop, browse, eat , Etc. and the apartment dwellers will still not be able to park there overnight or for long periods of time

Shopping should be enjoyable for all and not require parking fees.

Spending the day at the mall browsing is what you do at malls but now having to pay to do so does not make me want to go. Cherry Creek is an empty mall now and I am sure will continue to be that way. No where else in this country do you have to pay at a mall - ridiculous!

I have not shopped there since they put this charge into effect. I can go elsewhere where it is free. I bet a lot of merchants feel the loss too. Sorry for them.

3 hours of free parking should be enough

One hour of free parking is not enough. Change it to 3 hours of free parking.

Huge mistake to set up & charge people which is why people protest & it won't change until they go back to free parking like most of the country has

It's bad for business. You're losing customers. Distasteful. Greedy.

This failure was totally avoidable. Why not sell parking passes for the workers of the construction sites? How hard would that have been?

I work hard just to pay for the groceries, I can't afford to pay for parking while I'm grocery shopping.

At least let stores and restaurants validate. I'm not shopping there anymore. Meters in ccn are cheaper.

I have avoided the mall since before Christmas because of this ridiculous charge

All day parkers should be charged, not shoppers!

There has to be a middle ground, such as free parking with a receipt for a purchase that day, that would discourage non-shoppers and still allow for users of the mall to take their time.

Malls are a destination shopping experience. Browse, purchase, coffe, etc. get the picture. I don't know any woman that can shop in an hour. I now drive to, Park Meadows or Flat Irons. Or shop on-line. Why should I have to pay money shop. It's a Mall!
