Father Nick is an integral part of our church and our community. He is the sole reason we travel nearly an hour to go to church. He has helped all our families in so many ways. Please keep him in St. Athanasius!!

Fr. Nick is the heart and core of this church. I know members who have transferred or drive from 5 towns away to attend this church specifically to worship with Fr. Nick. What has happened is repulsive and I am so let down by the council. Will I be attending the Arlington church without Fr. Nick there? Absolutely not. Disgraceful. Bring Fr. Nick back!!!

This is not the way to repay a priest who has been there for all of us night and day. Where is the Christianity in any of this? If they need to clean house, it might be a good idea to rid the church of people with malicious intent. Jesus would never have acted this way. We know who the ones causing trouble are and the things they have done. Shame on them for acting in this way.

Fr Nick was the healing element that we needed when we left our past church for THIS exact same reason power struggle! He has been our spiritual leader and mentor for our family! Dropi tous!

The way the situation was handled was wildly inappropriate. I am apalled at the measures that were taken to remove the 11 priest from the community. He does not deserve to have his reputation tarnished for whatever mistake was made. If members' best interest was really at hand father Nick would not have been removed from the church. The claim was that this would restore the unity of the community. Instead it's making the community suffer and is only making things worse. Hundreds of people are not happy with this decision. They are the majority not the few people at the top. Extremely disappointed by this.

Father Kastanas has made our parish what it is today! He is a beloved priest in our community and the envy of churches everywhere. If Father Nick goes then there will be a mass exodus of parishioners leaving the church and that is not going to be good for our church or our community. Please keep Father Nick!
