Bring Back Father Nick!!!

Please bring him back!

His dismissal is very disappointing! I only have very positive things to say about Father Nick, who has really been an excellent priest and shown leadership and kindness to the parishioners, including my family. What did he do that warrants such a harsh punishment?

I am in support to bring back Father Nicholas Kastanas back to the St. Athanasius Church in Arlington!

This is an embarrassment and a shame to treat Father Nick in this way. Completely unacceptable and destructive to the entire community.

Have to have father Nick back. This comment box doesn't Have enough space in it to express how much of a positive impact he has made on our lives.

I am almost ashamed to be Greek Orthodox. The Metropolitan is ruining our churches foundation. He is running things just like US politics and his pathetic letter proves he is not fit to serve. Fr. Nick is not only my family but a wonderful man, a kind person who has been there for me my whole life. We will always be there for him. Do what is right in the name of the Lord.

I am in support of keeping Father Nicholas Kastanas in the ST. Athanasius church of Arlington, Mass!!!!

Bring back Fr. Nick!!

This is a big mistake. Father Nick needs to be reinstated as soon as possible for the benefit of the church and all of it's parishioners.

Shame on the people that orchestrated this. Father Nick IS the Arlington Church. I along with many other parishioners will leave the Arlington Church. We go there because of the kindness and spiritual leadeship of Fr. Nick not for the parish council. SHAME to you all that took part in this

We are all shocked and heartbroken. Father Nick has been a fabulous priest to my family and so many others. He is the reason we joined St. Athanasius, and his leadership encouraged us to be involved and faithful. He so warmly and consistently encourages the children to be involved in the religion and the community and helped so many families thrive. He has been a constant loving, positive and wise presence, and an inspiration spiritually, in good times and bad. He did not deserve this, and the church will suffer without him. Please reconsider your decision and do not pull Father Nick from us.

The only way to overturn this power and control driven decision is to go above the Metropolitan's head! Send an email to his boss Archbishop Demetrius at :[email protected] or call and leave a voicemail. Let's flood his inboxes and let him know how much Father Nick is loved and how unjust this decision was!

I am utterly speechless! Not only is Father Nick my dearest Uncle, he was the priest that officiated my baptism and my wedding!! I am shocked and deeply upset by this! Please sign and share this petition to bring Father Nicholas back!! Please pray for his (our) family as they go through this unjust decision that was made!!

I am saddened deeply by this action. I will support Father Nick in any way I can . He is the rock of St Athanasius .

Prayers for everyone in the community affected by this

Fr. Kastanas is the epitome of what a priest should be. Someone who leads by example. Someone who is generous of heart and spirit and gives his all to everyone. He has presided over all of my family's weddings, baptisms, and funerals. He is irreplaceable and we will not allow anyone to dictate who our spiritual leader should be. The community is with you Pater Kastana and we love and support you. There is no St. Athanasius parish without you.

My family and I are heart broken . Fr Nick has been a great spiritual leader for our community and positive inspiration four our kids. Please please reconsider your decision and leave Fr. Nick at St Athanasios a home where he really belongs.
