Father Nick has been a wonderful friend to my family and friends ... He has always been there especially during the tough times in our lives when we needed his kind words of support and spiritual guidance. I can't think of what else a good priest should no matter what the denomination. Bring him back and instead get rid of the premadonas.

FATHER NICK is the absolute opposite of what was said. Perhaps the evil being spoken was in the letter announcing his removal. Perhaps we should grab a few hundred people and head to New York. This reflects on the whole Greek Orthodox Church. There needs to be a reckoning in my opinion . Seeing such politics in this organization is below despicable.

I am very saddened by this news. The people that started this turmoil should be ashamed of themselves! We love you Father Nick!

Fr Nick has been the rock of St Athanasios for so very long. Whatvever this perceived nameless 'sin' is, it ought to be at the very least put to vote by all, not shamefully outed by the few pin-wearing elite. I feel the parish will be lost without him. Is there no moral right in allowing him a voice/choice in the matter instead of tossing him out unceremoniously? Shameful. If God forgives our sins how on earth are they not extending 'mercy' to a man who has devoted his life to God and his parish. Shame shame shame.

Father Nick is the epitome of a Christian. He so loved by all and has brought together his community throughout his many years of service at Saint Athanasius. I am devastated and heart broken that the opinion of a few has been able to override the masses, and that this has been allowed to happen to him and his family.

Father Kastana is the only priest I've ever gone to for confession, please please please bring him back. My Orthodox faith and my faith in God grew because of him.

Father Nick is a man of integrity and is extremely well liked in the community. This is a major loss for the church.

There are no words for this kind of behavior of the metropolis and those select few of the Arlington parish council. Father Nick is the most amazing priest I've known. He has helped me with personal struggles, with my family, and has never missed to call or text on a nameday! He is my spiritual father and like a 2nd father to me. Let's bring him back to the St. Athanasios church where he belongs.

Unbelievably bad decisions made by that council. Well done to whoever created this.

Father Nick is the best thing that has ever happened to the St. Athanasius of Arlington. He has built such a community of love and faith, for our parish. We all love him, he doesn't deserve this, Metropolitan Methodios should seriously reconsider his decision and find other means for his problems instead of using our beloved priest and spiritual father as a scapegoat.

Father Nick has been there for our family in good times and bad. We love him and consider him family. This is a travesty and makes me reconsider membership in the Arlington church.
