Even though I have not become a member of St Athanasius The Great Church I have gone to Church there and have found Father Nick to be one of the kindest and loving and open person there is . I am heart broken as is the rest of my family. He has tirelessly given of his time and energy to the Church and has even brought more of a congregation to the Orthodox . Respectfully add my name to the petition to re-instate Father Nick !!

This is unfathomable. Fr. Nick Kastanas is THE BEST PRIEST Arlington has ever had. He is tireless, and has shown consistent kindness and acceptance to all parishioners, both young and old. Fr. Nick is an example for all. Yes! He should be brought back! To whoever fired him, you should be ashamed. Bring him back to the people, and apologize.

Father Nick is one of the most loving and caring priests. St. Athanasius church was lucky to have him and what is being done to him and his family is wrong! He has always been there for my family and we love him. Please bring back Father Nick!!

Is THIS the turmoil that tMethodios was referring to in his obscure letter?? Or rather the lack of unity in our Parish? Because what I see is quite the opposite! I see nothing but UNITY and an outpouring of love and support for our amazing Father. Where is the turmoil now?

Father Nick is the reason I joined this church! He is such a good soul and made my husband and I look forward to raising our family in the church. He restored my faith in the church without him we will NOT be attending St Athanasius Church.

I don't know any of the back information. All I know is that there is no better priest than Father Kastanas. He is the epitome of a fine priest. He is my spiritual leader in every sense of the word. I will be lost without him .
