I’m Heart transplant #831 in the NBI Heart Failure Program. Dr Zucker has led the incredibly talented team to successes that have impacted thousands of friends and family members of his more than 1000 patients. His absence has already had an impact on the program he built over several decades. His patients have placed their faith and trust in him and know that he will have the same impact in the lives of future patients. Sensationalist journalism based on inaccuracies, deceitful recordings against hospital policy and HIPPA regulations have served only to destroy a successful heart transplant program and taunt the reputation of an excellent physician.

I am alive today because Dr Zucker took me on as a patient. My cardiologist at Columbia Presbyterian in NYC was the one who directed me to to go see Dr Zucker.
I will be forever grateful to Dr Zucker and the team he created at NBI.
But without Dr Zucker leading this team, I don’t think that NBI will be able to maintain their level of excellence.

I comment as heart. transplant patient 1035 and listed at NBI because of Dr Zucker’s reputation . His expertise got me out of rejection while I was struggling with serious side effects from several of my immunosuppressant. His experience, intelligence and ability to think out of the box is a valuable asset. Without him, patients are feeling forced to seek care elsewhere which us heartbreaking. I fear the program will not survive in a safe and sustainable model without him leading. Lives will be lost or may never have the opportunity to be saved. Please understand the gravity if not reinstating Mark Zucker

If it wasn't for Dr. Zucker and his team, my husband would not be here today and enjoying his 4 grandchildren. Please let Dr. Zucker resume his role so that he can continue to heal all those waiting for transplants.
