Dr. Zucker is our guardian angel. My husband has been under Dr. Zucker's care since 2011 and had a successful heart transplant at NBI in 2014. As recently as 5 months ago, Dr. Zucker's knowledge and expertise played a key role in quickly identifying another serious illness -- one that is potentially fatal for transplant patients -- so I truly feel he saved my husband a second time. I would place my life, and the lives of all of my family members, in Dr. Zucker's hands without a moment's hesitation. He needs to be back at Newark Beth Israel. We all need him there, firstly because he doesn't deserve this, and secondly, because he is saving lives each and every day.

Mark Zucker has done unfathomable good for the 23 years I have known him. He deserves the unrelenting respect of us all. It is a sin to keep him from the vocation that he is so brilliant at and loves so much. I am so deeply grateful that he has been my mentor for 2+ decades, but now I need him to save my life.

Dr Zucker has dedicated his life to the care of patients with end stage heart failure. His comments were taken out of context.
He should be restored to the practice of medicine

I have worked with Marc for over a decade. He is a great clinician & scientist who thinks out of the box, cares deeply and works hard for his patients and the transplant program.

Dr Zucker has been my go to cardiologist for 23 year he has kept me going and I am eternally grateful for having him in my life , he cathed me 4 times and every time I went to the cath lab I felt very reassured that everyting would be fine. Last night I was at the Beth for a sleep study and I must say I felt like something was missing from the minute I walked in, I started thinking my safety blanket (Dr Mark Zucker was not available if I needed him (not a good feeling to say the least). Please reinstate Dr Zucker so I could have pease of mind.

Dr. Zucker is not only a brilliant physician and a smart guy (he holds a law degree too) , he is a caring and warm human being. He could easily have chosen private practice and not a community hospital, and that choice has been a blessing for his countless patients. He does not deserve the callous treatment he has received.

I have known many physicians in my career, most are good ones, but very few are excellent. Mark Zucker is one of those few ones.

I met Dr. Zucker through Beth Israel and I cannot believe that he is the call guy for what is happening at the hospital. He has saved thousands of lives and I cannot believe that a hidden recording completely out of. I text could end his career. Let this brilliant doctor get back to work!
